It is with great sadness that we announce our president, mentor and friend, Bob Owens suddenly passed away on March 28, 2025. Bob was an inspirational leader whose passion to support clients and our local communities served as an example to all of us at the Owens Group.
We are deeply saddened by this loss and will forever honor Bob’s memory by continuing the wonderful legacy he built for our company, community, and industry.
The Owens Group has always operated as a combined team to maintain the quality of service our clients deserve. We are fully operational, focused, and capable of continuing that great support. Bob would have it no other way. It is why he was so enthusiastic about surrounding himself and our clients with experienced and caring professionals – something he learned from his late father Herbert, who founded the Owens Group in 1957.
Vice Presidents, Jean Dennehy and Maria Patti, along with their teams, will continue to run the business’ day-to-day operations to ensure uninterrupted service. Their long-established client-support roles and responsibilities have been in place for many years and will keep the business running smoothly to meet your needs.
We can assure there will be no interruption of service and support for your account as we continue to be closely involved in all aspects of your insurance program. It is also why we made the decision to expand our capabilities by joining Foundation Risk Partners in December of 2024.
